Who we are
Ezer is provided by Gide Oy, Helsinki, Finland ("we", "us"). We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: harald@gideagency.com.
How Ezer is built
Each organization that uses Ezer gets its own instance running on a server dedicated to that organization. The organization's information is kept in its own instance and is not combined with any other organization's information. For information inside an organization's instance, the organization decides what is connected and who can see it; we process that information on the organization's behalf to provide the service.
What we process
- This website. If you request access, we receive the email address, name and message you enter. We use them only to reply to you. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
- Account information. Name, email address and role of each person invited to an instance, used to sign them in and apply their access rights.
- Information a person chooses to connect. Documents they upload; Google Drive files they select; Notion pages they grant access to; messages they send to Ezer, including through Telegram if they link it; and the questions they ask and the answers Ezer gives.
- Operational records. Security and service logs needed to run the instance, keep it secure and fix faults.
How we use it
We use this information only to provide Ezer to the organization and its people: to read and organize the connected information, answer questions, prepare the company overview and health check, and keep the service secure and working. We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or use an organization's information to train AI models.
Google user data
When a person connects Google Drive, Ezer asks only for access to the files that person selects (the
drive.file permission), reads them, and does not change or delete them. Ezer's use and transfer of
information received from Google APIs adheres to the
Google API
Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide the
features the person sees in Ezer, is not transferred to others except as needed to provide those features or as
required by law, is not used for advertising, and is not read by people at Gide Oy unless the person asks us to for
support, it is needed for security, or the law requires it. A person can disconnect Google Drive at any time in their
settings or in their Google account.
Service providers
- Hosting: Hetzner Online GmbH, which runs the dedicated instance servers in the EU.
- AI models: to answer a request, the instance sends the request and the relevant excerpts to the AI model providers configured for that instance (currently DeepSeek for language and Voyage AI for search). Some of these providers process data outside the EU/EEA. An organization can choose to use its own AI provider accounts.
- Connected services such as Google Drive, Notion and Telegram, only when a person connects them.
- This website is hosted by Vercel, and access requests are delivered by email through Google Workspace.
How long we keep it
Information in an instance is kept while the organization uses Ezer. When the service ends, we return or delete the organization's information as agreed with the organization, unless the law requires us to keep it. Access requests from this website are kept for as long as we are in contact about them.
Security
Instances run on dedicated servers with encrypted connections, per-person access rights and encrypted backups.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, ask us to restrict or object to its processing, or ask for a copy in a portable form. Write to harald@gideagency.com. If your data is in an organization's instance, we may forward your request to that organization. You can also complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
Changes
We will post any change to this policy on this page with a new effective date.
